So when it comes gaming on Android, there’s only a few options for controllers. You can either get a full size controller with a phone clip mount or get a telescopic controller. There’s not many telescopic controllers out there, but it seems like the general consensus is that the Flydigi Wee 2 and Daqi M1 are the best. The Daqi M1 is available for $35 on Amazon while the Wee 2 is a hefty $50. Which one is better? Is the Wee 2 worth it? That’s what I’ll be going over in this comparison.

Round 1: Unboxing Experience

The Wee 2 comes in a very nice box. The lid is held on by a magnet, similar to the Vortex Core I reviewed a while back. The first thing you see is the controller and underneath it is all the accessories. You get a carrying bag, a USB Hub (more on this later), a micro-USB to USB Type A, and a kickstand. Overall the package does a good job in making you feel like you got your money’s worth.

What you get with the Flydigi (left) vs M1 (right)

The Daqi M1 comes in a pretty basic no frills box. You get a carrying bag like the Wee 2, a lanyard, and a micro-USB to USB Type A. The carrying bag feels quite cheap, has a strong chemical smell, and doesn’t have a divider like the Wee 2’s bag.
